The Green Bay 2 dive site is fabulous, you can't fault it. You begin the dive swimming over rocks at 2 or 3 metres, keeping an eye out for watercraft above. When the sun is out it's such a beautiful, tranquil place to be.
Once you move deeper there's a swim-through we call the Blue Hole, when the light filters through the water just right you'll see how it earned this name, and there are abandoned fishing nets which add to the atmosphere of this site.
This is a perfect place to go when the sun is shining. Who'd have thought that one of the best places to take advantage of Cyprus' perfect weather would be 18 metres below the surface of it's stunning waters?
